About AI for Your Day

I'm a preschool teacher with a longstanding curiosity about technology. AI first intrigued me. Then I started using it, and it blew me away.

The power and usefulness genuinely surprised me — not in some abstract "future of work" way, but in small, everyday ways. Drafting a hard email. Decoding a confusing insurance letter. Planning my week without losing my mind.

The more I used it, the more I wanted to understand how it actually worked. Most of what I found online was either written for developers or full of breathless hype. Neither helped. So I tried to learn enough to demystify it for myself — and once I did, it became clear most people would benefit from the same. Not just "what is AI" basics, but practical guidance: what AI is good at, what it isn't, how to use it, and how to keep using it without burning through a paid subscription.

That's why I started AI for Your Day. I write the kind of plain-English guides I wanted when I was figuring this out. I started the blog with AI's help, which feels like exactly the right tone for what this is about.

How the articles are written

I research everything carefully and test tools myself before recommending them. When I haven't personally used something, I say so. No AI-generated filler. No repackaged press releases. If an article includes affiliate links, you'll see a clear disclosure at the top.
